Nearly every JMT project requires the involvement of our water resources engineers.  Drainage, stormwater management, and erosion & sediment control are key elements of all roadway and building projects.  Our registered professional engineers provide hydrologic and hydraulic expertise in support of many assignments.

JMT’s Water Resources Division assists state agencies to review projects submitted for environmental regulatory approval by other consultants.  We also lead environmental projects such as stream restorations, flooding investigations, and channel relocations using bioengineering techniques learned through Rosgen training.  For these projects, JMT’s environmental specialists, landscape architects, and GIS personnel provide complementary experience toward comprehensive solutions.
