Sparks, MD - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Cerquetti, PE has joined JMT as Vice President in our Sparks, Maryland corporate office. Mr. Cerquetti will provide senior management for structures and port and coastal engineering under our Facilities Division. With Jeff's leadership, JMT will have a greater focus on these practice areas with the intent to grow these services. Jeff brings more than 25 years of structural and civil engineering experience to JMT. Prior to joining JMT, he worked on projects for the City of Baltimore, University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, GSA Federal projects in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina, the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, and the Office of the Architect of the Capitol on the Capitol power plant expansion project. Jeff is a Registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, the District of Columbia, and New Hampshire. Jeff holds a co-patent for the Mobile Modular Intermodal Cogeneration System, a portable cogeneration power plant termed "SOURCE". He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute, American Institute of Steel Construction, and the Geo-Institute of the ASCE. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Civil Engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently working towards a PhD in civil engineering with a concentration on coastal and ocean structures from the University of Maryland. |
