Sparks, MD - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is pleased to announce that William F. Kirwin, RLA has joined JMT as Senior Associate and Landscape Architect in the Maryland Planning and Landscape Architecture Department. He has over 45 years of experience in landscape architecture, environmental planning and land use, and he will be a tremendous asset to JMT. For over 25 years Bill owned his own firm, William F. Kirwin, Inc., which recently merged with JMT. His career has been devoted primarily to parks and recreational spaces as well as to master planning, site planning and design for campuses and athletic facilities. He has worked with nearly every public university in Maryland. In addition, he has designed renovations for numerous State and Baltimore City Parks, and he has provided landscape architectural design for many public and private clients. Mr. Kirwin is the former Chairman of both the State of Maryland Landscape Architectural Licensing Board and the Baltimore County Planning Board. Bill holds a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from Syracuse University and a law degree from the University of Baltimore. He is a licensed Landscape Architect registered in Maryland. |
