Bombay Hook Surveying and Mapping

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) needed to establish the property line between its Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge and a farmer’s land in Kent County, Delaware.  JMT provided full survey and mapping services to help conclude a land swap between the agency and the farmer.

Our responsibilities for this project included:

  • Providing boundary surveys.
  • Establishing new horizontal and vertical control on site.
  • Monumenting all new property corners.
  • Preparing a subdivision map and plat.
  • Preparing standard USFWS survey reports.
