JMT has provided Comprehensive Program Management services as General Engineering Consultant for landside development projects at Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport since 1999. We are responsible for coordination and management of all design activities, document control, budget and schedule validation and development, construction phasing, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
We have overseen the $1.3 billion expansion of BWI Airport including the following design and construction projects:
Expansion of Concourses A and B
Development of schematic design for Concourse F
Extension of upper level roadway in front of Concourse A
Upper and lower roadway improvements including pedestrian bridges
Relocated terminal roadway
New public parking garage in the terminal's core area
New remote employee parking lot
New remote consolidated rental car facility
Electrical substation and central utility plant upgrade projects
Master plan for Signage throughout the airport
Coordination with People Mover planning study
