Double Run Area Transmission System

JMT is preparing designs, drawings and bid documents for three submersible wastewater pump stations for the Double Run Wastewater Collection System. Project features include:

  • Pumps ranging from 80 to 1,450 gallons per minute (gpm)
  • Approximately 4,300 feet of 4-inch force main piping
  • 7,800 feet of 8-inch force main piping
  • 19,250 feet of 14-inch force main piping
  • 17,350 feet of 10-inch and 12-inch gravity collection and interceptor sewer piping
  • Preparing a generic standard design, drawings and specifications for submersible pump stations, which will be used for design of future projects.
  • Interfaced with multiple residential land developers for new interceptor and pump station force main piping alignment study/verification, as required to establish the necessary new infrastructure for both new and existing development in this portion of the County
  • A separate task includes preparing designs, drawings and bid documents for approximately 55,050 feet of new 24-inch force main to serve as a bypass to the existing trunk manifold force main during high wastewater flow events.
