In the wake of a tragic transportation accident in the Baltimore-Washington region during which a tanker truck drove off an overpass and landed on I-95, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police contacted JMT to provide materials for recovery and investigative purposes. JMT provided the Authority with emergency mapping services which included:

• Coordination with staff from Maryland State Highway Administration and Baltimore County to acquire aerial photography covering the four jurisdictions impacted: Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County and Howard County.
• Prepared map exhibits of various areas of interest in the investigation to be used for press conferences.
• Created a secure web site allowing access to the map exhibits from MdTA headquarters as the maps were being generated.
