Adams County's Department of GIS and Mapping contracted with JMT to develop a web-based viewer for parcel ownership information and tax maps.  JMT's methodology for development of the parcel mapping website included a detailed requirements analysis that was sensitive to the County's budget and long-term plans to update and maintain the web application. 

We designed the web site to empower users to:

• Search by owner name, parcel ID number, address, or tax map index number
• Navigate the map interface
• Query map features interactively
• Print an 8.5” x 11” map

Users may access numerous data layers such as street centerlines, floodplains, school districts, contours, tax map index layers, soils, township boundaries and hydrography.

JMT continues to refine and enhance the end user experience with additional data resources and tools.
