JMT developed a web-based tracking and documentation system for the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) Planning Review Division.  DelDOT lacked a tool to manage all of the Subdivision Record Plans, Commercial Entrance Plans, Subdivision Approval Plans and offsite improvements under review by the agency. Most critically, project data needed to be available in a central location, and a tool was needed to ensure that reviews were completed consistently. 

The tracking system has a secure web interface developed using an ASP.NET 2.0 environment with Microsoft ATLAS controls and JavaScript.  The backend database was developed using Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and reports were developed in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.  Users manage all their projects and contracts on-line and can easily generate status reports.

JMT's online database streamlines the workflow process for reviewers by providing all project data in one location.  In addition, DelDOT's project reviews are more consistent and take less time to prepare through the use of checklists and standard comments.
