Because our staff's backgrounds range from engineering to contracting to owner’s representative, JMT has experience in critical path method (CPM) schedule development and review from many perspectives. This enables us to be thorough and inclusive of all activities that affect job progression and that are necessary to the development of an adequate master CPM schedule. We review schedules submitted by contractors from the point of view of the owner. Once the baseline schedule has been established and approved, construction progress is verified regularly, and each schedule update is carefully reviewed using contemporaneous time frame analysis. Responsibility for any delays that occur is assigned for accountability and tracked to determine overall project impact. By early determination of delays, we maximize the owner's and contractor's flexibility to develop and implement opportunities that keep the project on schedule. |
